The Ultimate Collection 1994-2011 and Footprints 2001-2011 out now!
It's a bittersweet day for all you Fingernuts, with the final ever Powderfinger release out today. Get ready to take a trip down memory lane with The Ultimate Collection (1994-2011), out today! The double CD features 35 tracks spanning the band's career, as well as two previously unreleased tracks - 'Empty Space' and 'Silver Bullet'.

Last night, our album "Odyssey Number Five" was voted in as the #1 Hottest 100 Australian Album Of All Time!
"We are extremely proud that so many people voted for the 'Fingers in the poll. It's amazing that we beat so many of the big wigs that we all idolised when we were growing up. Thanks to Triple J for always being such a strong supporter of local talent, and ultimately for supporting such an unfashionable bunch of lads as ourselves through thick and thin. As we promised last week, we have a brand new Powderfinger single for you! After seeing the devastation caused by the flooding in Queensland over the last months, Powderfinger have opted to release a new single (recorded in 2010), with all proceeds going to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
